The Challenge: Vendors not being available on specific dates
A couple of months ago, we worked with a couple who were stressed out about planning their wedding. Planning a wedding alone is an overwhelming task, but planning it during a pandemic makes it even more challenging! Due to the surging levels of infections in the country, the couple had to keep postponing their wedding date. Finally, when they were confident about their wedding date, after months of waiting, they realized that their vendors’ schedules and the days that their venue was available didn’t match up. This was a major stumbling block as they had their heart set on these vendors and had already booked the venue.

The Solution: Created a survey to check availability
I suggested to the couple that they organize a survey to get around the problem. The survey was meant to determine which days their vendors were booked and compare them to the tentative dates they had in mind based on their venue. From the survey results, we were able to see which vendors were available on the different dates and match the venue availability. It took a few weeks to ensure all the vendors were on the same page, and the wedding ended up being a grand success.
